The Gordo Green Wave defeated Lauderdale County 44-14 in the second round of the playoffs last Friday at home.

The Green Wave enter the game with a 11-1 record.... They were 6-1 on their home turf and 5-0 on the road.

The Green Wave' offense is averaging 46.1 points a game....

Gordo is on a ten game winning streak since losing to Bibb County in week two of the season by a score of 56-21 at home. During the winning streak the Green Wave have outscored their opponents by an average of 48.2-11.9.

They qualified for the playoffs by finishing 1st in Class 3A Region 5. The Green Wave were 6-0 in region play.

The Green Wave have made 39 playoff appearances with an overall record of 65-34.... They are 4-5 on the road in the quarterfinals. 		The Piedmont Bulldogs defeated Colbert County 42-20 in the second round of the playoffs last Friday on the road.

The Bulldogs enter the game with a 10-2 record.... They were 4-1 on their home turf and 6-1 on the road.

The Bulldogs' offense is averaging 37.6 points a game. The Bulldogs' defense is only giving up 13.8 points a game.

Piedmont is on a seven game winning streak since losing to Anniston in week six of the season by a score of 30-28 at home. Since that loss the Bulldogs have outscored their opponents by an average of 41.9-10.4.

They qualified for the playoffs by finishing 1st in Class 3A Region 6. The Bulldogs were 7-0 in region play.
